a dreamy stay

clean roomfriendly staffhelpful employee
I found everything available and clean. the front desk employees, especially alexander, maria, and alfonso, treated me like family, helping with bus routes and dining choices with constant smiles. i stayed seven nights and enjoyed meaningful interactions with them. They readily answered my questions and assisted with any need. the room itself was a good haven.
there was a slight noise audible from outside , made sleeping a little difficult some nights.
Location

the hotel sits on the east side, offering a walk downhill to the roman amphitheater in approximately twenty minutes. from there, it is another ten minutes to the historic district. many bars and cafes line the main street, just five minutes away.
Dining
9/10
The restaurant included a wide variety of food, sweets, and fruits. Breakfast and dinner were well catered. the breakfast included spanish dishes such as tortilla de patatas. cheese in oil with herbs, and jamón ibérico were available.
Rooms

the rooms were generously sized and clean. the bed mattress featured full encapsulation with a protective sheet cover. sound isolation separated the bathroom from the main room. total sunlight blockage happened thanks to the curtains.

hotel breakfastnon-functioning air conditioning
The breakfast had all the basics. It was acceptable.
The air conditioning was not working, and the reception staff first said they didn't have it. After I pointed out that air conditioning was advertised, they said it was broken. It did not get fixed, very disappointing.

The breakfast offered a variety of options. I particularly enjoyed the croissants with Nutella and the fresh fruit. A coffee machine was available (just what I needed to start my day). The hotel also provided umbrellas to borrow on rainy days. This was convenient .
The room lacked soundproofing, so I could hear noise from the hallway.
